A rare opportunity has arisen with a very prestigious City Livery Company for a proactive individual to join as an Events Assistant on a 12 month maternity cover.
You will assist the Events Manager in organising and managing events from enquiry through to delivery stage, for both their internal members and also for their commercial clients. Duties will include organising invitations, table plans, running orders, biographical documents, bands, flowers, AV equipment etc etc. You will also take care of all the associated admin, from function sheets, to feedback forms and costings etc.
You will attend and support all the events and should be very comfortable socialising with people from all walks of life, nurturing client relationships and working alongside all the banqueting staff,
The ideal candidate will have experience of assisting in the delivery of events and should be a real teamplayer, proactive, hardworking and an excellent communicator. You should have proven administrative and hospitality experience and be IT savvy.
