A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a part time Welcome Host to support the General Manager in setting up a brand new Visitor Pavilion in Brent Cross, where there is a new development under way which will comprise housing, workspace and shops and restaurants.
This pavilion will become the go-to destination for all who wish to find out more about the development site. It will be open 9-6pm Wednesday-Sunday and to 8pm on Thursday. It will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. You will work 20 hours per week across Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, although there may some flexibility for the right person.
Duties will include meeting and greeting all visitors to the Pavilion; providing information about the scheme to visitors and managing the visitor and events schedule. You will be a member of the Marketing and Comms team and will work collaboratively with all the on-site teams, including residential sales and the cafe team.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in dealing with the public and enjoy speaking with a wide range of people. You should have strong presentation skills as you will be delivering presentations (some informal and some more formal) about the development to the visitors. You should be tech savvy, have great IT skills for diary management and presentation set-up etc and ideally have some working knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work act.
